Bend man arrested for Arson following two reported fires

Bend Police Dept. - 05/13/18 

On May 13, 2018, Officers with the Bend Police Department and Bend Fire Department were dispatched to 63313 Lamoine Lane on two separate incidents.
At 08:45 AM, an open burn was reported in the backyard of the residence. Bobby Yarbrough was contacted at the residence, however it was determined that no crimes had occurred at that time.
At 11:15 AM, a structure fire was reported in the backyard of the residence. Witnesses reported that a shed was fully engulfed with flames reaching 25 feet in the air.  The fire was extinguished by Bend Fire and based on evidence at the scene and witness statements, Bend Police Officers began an Arson investigation. Officers on scene contacted Yarbrough at the residence and took him into custody a short time later.
No injuries were reported in either incident and the shed was determined to be a total loss.
Yarbrough was transported to St. Charles Hospital where he is currently being evaluated.
