Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash on Highway 30 near Milepost 12.5 -- Multnomah County

Oregon State Police - 05/11/18 

On May 10, 2018 at approximately 7:40pm the Oregon State Police – St. Helens responded to a fatal motor vehicle crash on Highway 30 just east of NW Cornelius Pass Road, Portland, within Multnomah County.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a blue 2002 Toyota Camry, operated by Natasha Melyn CARRILLO, age 26 of Vancouver, Washington was entering Highway 30 from the Bottoms Up Tavern to proceed eastbound. While executing a left turn, CARRILLO was struck by a white 2000 Ford F350 truck which was traveling westbound on Highway 30. The Ford was operated by Kim V. COX, age 55 of Rainier.
CARRILLO sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.  Both occupants were wearing safety belts at the time of the collision and it is undetermined if intoxicants are a contributing factor.
Next of kin notification has been made.                                                                        
Oregon State Police was assisted by Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, Portland Fire and Rescue, Oregon Department of Transportation, and Grumpy’s Towing Co.
