Mill City Narcotics Arrests

Albany Police - 05/04/18 
On May 4, 2018 5 people were arrested during a search warrant at 235 S 1ST in Mill City, Oregon conducted by the Linn Interagency Narcotics Enforcement (LINE) Task Force.  The investigation focused on the unlawful delivery and unlawful possession of methamphetamine in Linn County.  As a result of the warrant investigators seized evidence of those crimes.
5 individuals were taken into custody at the location and lodged in the Linn County Jail without incident on the following charges:
Rebecca Ann Franklin, 48 year old Mill City resident – Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Felony and Frequenting a place where controlled substances are used.
Kathryn Tennille Christian, 41 year old Mill City resident – Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Felony, Frequenting a place where controlled substances are used and an outstanding warrant for Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Bret Adam Pettey, 32 year old Mill City resident - Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Misdemeanor, Frequenting a place where controlled substances are used and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
Benjamin Elisha Steele, 35 year old Mill City resident, Frequenting a place where controlled substances are used.
Cameila N. Showers, 35 year old Mill City resident, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Felony and Frequenting a place where controlled substances are used.
Lucille M. Finley, 69 year old Mill City resident was not arrested.  Charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine were referred to the Linn County District Attorney.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office patrol division assisted in the investigation and search warrant service.
The LINE Taskforce was established as a result of Linn County being designated as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) in 2016. The team is comprised of investigators from the Linn County Sheriff's Office, Albany Police Department, Lebanon Police Department, Sweet Home Police Department, Oregon State Police, Eugene office of Drug Enforcement Administration and Oregon National Guard Counterdrug Task Force.
The mission of LINE is to reduce illegal drug trafficking in the Linn County area by identifying, disrupting, or dismantling drug trafficking and money laundering organizations through cooperative efforts, enforcement, and intelligence sharing by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
