Coons was just released from jail and had to be physically removed by jail deputies to get him to exit. Roseburg Fire and Police responded to the jail parking lot shortly thereafter when Coons, for unknown reasons, set his pants on fire while he was still wearing them. Coons did not sustain any injuries from the fire. He then sat naked on the wooden bench outside of the jail and defecated.
