Suspicious Death

Sunriver Police Dept. - 05/06/18 

On 05/06/18 at approximately 0724 a.m., the Sunriver Police Department received a call of a person down on the Meadows Golf Course near the 11th hole.  Upon their arrival, officers located a deceased white male in his early 40’s.  Deputies from Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, the Oregon State Police and the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to assist Sunriver Police Department in the investigation. 

Upon further investigation, it was determined the male subject died of a self- inflicted gunshot wound. 

Additional information will be released pending notification of next of kin.
