Deputy-Involved Shooting off Century Drive

A deputy-involved shooting has occurred involving one of our deputies off Century Drive, at a camp off the USFS 4610 Road. The Major Incident Team is being called out to the scene. The adult subject in this incident is deceased. Our deputy was not injured. Any future information will be released by the DA’s Office and Major Incident Team.
In accordance with our office's standard practice, the two deputies at the scene will be placed on administrative leave pending the conclusion of the investigation.
Media staging area is located at Century Drive at the USFS 4610 Road.
