Fire Stations to Temporarily Relocate - 6/12/18

Roseburg Fire Department - 06/12/18
The City of Roseburg Fire Department will be temporarily relocating two fire stations while seismic rehabilitation construction is occurring.
The seismic rehabilitation construction is an effort to strengthen the structural integrity of the fire stations in case of a catastrophic earthquake.  The fire stations will then be able to serve as an emergency operations center in case of a community wide disaster.
The relocation of Station 3, currently located at 801 N.W. Garden Valley Boulevard, will begin on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 8 a.m.  The temporary location for Station 3 will be located at 1540 N.W. Valley View Drive.
The relocation of Station 2, currently located at 2177 W. Harvard Avenue, will begin by the first week in July.  The exact date of the relocation for Station 2 will be announced in the near future.
During these relocations, department incident response will remain the same and personnel will continue to provide a high level of service to the citizens of Roseburg.
The relocation of both stations is expected to last until late summer or early fall.
