Single vehicle fatal crash on Hwy 20 in Linn County

On Sunday June 3, 2018 at approximately 4:49 PM, Oregon State Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on HWY 20 near milepost 73, west of Santiam Junction in Linn County.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a white 1997 Chrysler Concord sedan, operated by Dwight WORTHINGTON Jr., age 62, of Wolf Creek was traveling west on HWY 20 when for unknown reasons drifted off the roadway and struck a tree head on.
Worthington Jr suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
The passengers of the vehicle Stephen BROWN, age 59, of Redmond, Dwight WORTHINGTON III, age 34, of Wolf Creek, and a 10 year old juvenile male, of Wolf Creek all suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Bend.
