UPDATE ---- Multiple Fatality Crash - Hwy 30 Clatsop County ---- Names Released

Oregon State Police - 06/03/18 

The Oregon State Police along with other emergency personnel are currently investigating a multiple fatality vehicle crash on Hwy 30 near mile post 75 in Clatsop County - This is 5 miles from the Columbia/Clatsop County line.
There is no detour available in the area.  Please avoid the area or expect long delays - 3 plus hours.
Investigation continuing - more information to be released later.

Preliminary Investigation reveals that on June 1, 2018 a Honda minivan with 8 occupants was westbound on Hwy 30 when it attempted a left turn, near Clifton Rd,  in the path of an oncoming Ford F450 PU towing an empty horse trailer.
4 occupants of the Honda minivan are confirmed deceased, 3 transported by Life Flight to Portland Hospitals, and 1 transported by ambulance to local hospital.
3 occupants of the Ford F450 were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.
Names will not be released unitl tomorrow at the earliest.

The operator of the Honda minivan has been identified as Yong Gi KIM (male),age 45, from Gig Harbor, WA.  KIM was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The passengers in the Honda minivan have been identified as;
Yun Hee LEE (female), age 44, from Gig Harbor, WA. LEE sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Soon Ja LIM (female), age 71, from South Korea. LIM sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Jung Hee LEE (female), age 39, from South Korea. LEE sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A juvenile male from Gig Harbor, WA sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Yoon Kyung LEE (female), age 42, from South Korea, sustained serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight to Portland area hospital.
A juvenile male from South Korea and a juvenile female from Gig Harbor, WA both sustained serious injuries and were transported by Life Flight to a Portland area hospital.
The family requests no contact as they are dealing with this tragic event.
The operator of the Ford F450 truck has been identified as Stevie R. SMITH (female), age 21, from Roy, WA. Smith was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The passengers in the F450 have been identified as;
Charlie A. DOCKINS (female), age 25, from Roy, WA. Dockins was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
A juvenile male from Roy, WA. was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
