Package thief caught in a stolen car with the stolen packages inside. Seeking help from the public

Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office - 07/06/18 

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and City of Happy Valley Police received a call from a citizen who witnessed a man driving a green Honda Civic stealing packages off doorsteps and following a UPS delivery truck making deliveries in a Happy Valley neighborhood near SE. Johnson Creek Blvd and SE. Wyndham Wy.
A Clackamas County Deputy heard the broadcasted call and located the vehicle being driven 20 year old Dylan Young. The deputy attempted to do a traffic stop on  Mr. Young who also had another male and female passenger with him however he fled and eventually crashed which ended up being a stolen vehicle into a pole. Mr. Young and the other occupants fled the scene on foot. Mr. Young and an unidentified female were arrested shortly afterwards while the second male still remains at large.
The vehicle which was driven by Mr. Young had been stolen from the Clackamas Town Center earlier in the morning and the packages which had been stolen off the doorsteps were located in the vehicle and returned to the proper owners.
The Sheriff's Office developed information that a second stolen vehicle was parked at the Clackamas Town Center and was subsequently located,  recovered and the victim was notified.
