Rape And Sex Abuse Suspect Arrested Again

In March of 2018 Beaverton Police arrested Reachana Chan after a Washington County Grand Jury indicted him on multiple Sex Abuse charges. After that arrest, and subsequent media release, three additional victims came forward.
The three new victims were 12 and 13 years old when the criminal acts occurred during 2013-2014. At that time Mr. Chan was 19-years-old. The three victims knew Mr. Chan by the name of Brandon and met him over social media sites like MeetMe, Facebook and KIK.
In July 2018 a Washington County Grand Jury indicted Mr. Chan on 30 additional sex crimes which include 3 counts of Rape in the Second Degree (Measure 11-B Felony), 8 counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (Measure 11-B Felony), 1 count of Sodomy in the First Degree (Measure 11-A Felony), 3 counts of Sodomy in the Second Degree (Measure 11-B Felony), 13 counts of Using Child in Display of Sexual Explicit Conduct (Measure 11-A Felony), 1 count of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree (Measure 11-A Felony) and 1 count of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (B Felony).
On August 1st Mr. Chan was arrested by Beaverton detectives and transported to Washington County Jail. Mr. Chan’s bail was set at 5.25 million dollars. Beaverton Police detectives still believe there may be additional victims. Any additional victims are urged to contact Detective Maggie Brown at 503-526-2538.
