Suspect sought in drive-by shooting

Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 19, is wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on Saturday, October 27th, 2018. The case was presented to a Grand Jury this week, who indicted Rodriguez. A felony warrant has also been issued for his arrest.
Rodriguez is described as Hispanic male, 5'6", 120 lbs, often wearing red clothing.
The shooting occurred at noon on Saturday, when the suspect drove by the 900 block of Alta Street, as a passenger in a vehicle. The vehicle drove by a particular residence three times, gesturing to a male. On the third time by, the suspect fired a handgun in the direction of the victim. No one was struck. A shell casing was recovered from the street. The vehicle and suspected driver have been located.
The shooting is believed to be gang related, however, neither the intended victim, nor any nearby witnesses are believed to be involved in gang activity.
The weapon involved has not been recovered. Rodriguez previously lived in the the 700 block of N. Riverside, Medford. He has been known to frequent the White City area as well.
