CODE team search warrant/ multiple arrests in Prineville

Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) - 02/07/19


After a short term investigation, the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement team, with the assistance of the Prineville Police Department and Crook County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 at 0930 hours at 805 SE 6th St in Prineville, Oregon.

A total of seven subjects were arrested during the warrant service and Detectives seized two firearms from Rudy Parras, who is a convicted felon.  One of the firearms, a Tech 9, had the serial number obliterated. 

Drugs and evidence seized supported the investigation that controlled substances were frequently being sold from the residence which included Heroin and Methamphetamine.

During the execution of the search warrant, Ronda Parras allegedly swallowed Heroin just prior to contact with law enforcement officers.  Ronda Parras was subsequently transported to St. Charles Prineville, where she later fled but was apprehended a short time later by Crook County Deputies.  Parras was returned to SCMC Prineville for continued observation.

Ronda Parras, Rudy Parras and Devon Miles live at the SE 6th St address and the remainder of the subjects contacted and arrested were guests of the occupants.

Department of Human Services assisted with this investigation to ensure the welfare of the children living within the home.

All of the listed suspects have been lodged at the Crook County Jail.

Crook County Warrant for Probation Violation

The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement (CODE) team is a multi-jurisdictional narcotics task force supported by the Oregon-Idaho High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) program and the following Central Oregon law enforcement agencies:  Prineville Police Department, Oregon State Police, Bend Police Department, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, Redmond Police Department, Crook County Sheriff’s Office, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Madras Police Department, Sunriver Police Department, Black Butte Police Department, United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Warm Springs Tribal Police Department, Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson County District Attorney’s, and the Oregon National Guard.

The Oregon-Idaho HIDTA program is an Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) sponsored counterdrug grant program that coordinates and provides funding resources to multi-agency drug enforcement task forces to disrupt or dismantle local, multi-state and international drug trafficking organizations.
