Canyonville Man In Custody After Running on Interstate 5

At 4:41 P.M., deputies were dispatched to the area of the Napa (400-block S. Pine Street) in Canyonville. It was reported that Kyle Joseph Fugate was running around believing people were out to get him. When deputies arrived in the area, Fugate was found to be running northbound on Interstate 5.
Fugate was initially detained, then head-butted the deputy. The deputy was not seriously injured.
Fugate was transported to the Douglas County Jail where he was lodged on the following charges:
CANYONVILLE, Ore. – A 27-year old Canyonville man was lodged in the Douglas County Jail Monday night after running on the interstate and assaulting a deputy.
