Detectives seeking witnesses to late night shooting

Last night, just after 11:15 pm, we received a report of a shooting in the Berryhill Shopping Center parking lot, located at 19001 S. Beavercreek Rd.  Initial reports were of a male subject dressed in camouflage firing a gun walking through the parking lot.  We arrived and located 22-year-old, Grant Michael Joseph Aby, matching the suspect description in the parking lot.  Mr. Aby was taken into custody and was in possession of a handgun.  We did not find anyone injured at the scene.  Detectives are investigating this shooting and are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information about the shooting to call the Oregon City Tip line at 503-496-1616.
