On February 28, 2023, MADGE Detectives arrested two suspects for possession of narcotics following a months-long investigation.

The suspects were from out of the area and contacted when they arrived in Medford to distribute the narcotics. MPD K9 Max alerted Detectives to the suspect’s vehicle when it was contacted. A search of their vehicle revealed 10 pounds of meth and three ounces of fentanyl.

Detectives arrested 20-year-old Saidy Karoline Izaguirre-Espinal for:

▪️Unlawful Possession and Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine

▪️Unlawful Possession and Unlawful Delivery of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl

Izaguirre-Espinal is currently lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Detectives also arrested a 17-year-old juvenile male for Unlawful Possession and Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine. The male is currently lodged at the Jackson County Juvenile Detention.

MADGE (Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement) is a gang and narcotics team comprised of local, state and federal investigators that work in partnership with other government agencies to share information and resources to dismantle drug trafficking and other criminal organizations operating in the Jackson County area. Our K9 narcotics team is essential for helping our officers save lives and limit the amount of drug distribution in our community.
