*Update - Name Released* OSP Responds to Pedestrian Fatality on I-5 near Milepost 250 in Salem

Oregon State Police  - 03/26/18  Update On Saturday March 24, 2018 at about 8:55pm, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of vehicle versus pedestrian crash on I-5 near milepost 250.5 south of the Kuebler Blvd overpass. Preliminary investigation revealed an adult, male pedestrian, Kirk Daniel WILCOX (42) Sparks, Nevada was dressed in dark colored clothing and attempted to cross Interstate 5 from the center median across three southbound lanes. A 2015 GMC pickup towing an enclosed cargo trailer, operated by 35 year old Christopher Scott LINN from Albany attempted to avoid WILCOX but struck him with the right front area of his pickup. LINN is cooperating with the investigation. A member of WILCOX'S family has been notified. 142nd Fighter Wing deploys theater security package to the Netherlands

Oregon Military Department  - 03/26/18  RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- The U.S. Air Force deployed F-15s from the 142nd Fighter Wing, Portland, Oregon, and the 104th Fighter Wing, Westfield, Massachusetts, to Leeuwarden Air Base, Netherlands, as part of a Theater Security Package in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Nearly 260 Airmen from the 142nd Fighter Wing deployed with the aircraft as the 123rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron. Approximately 40 Airmen from the 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, will support the 123rd EFS for this mission. Since 2015 the U.S. Air Force schedules and deploys force packages of fighters and tankers throughout the U.S. European Command area of responsibility. TSP deployments to Europe vary in length and are supported with total force aircraft and Airmen from stateside units. Two-vehicle Crash Results in Fatality on US-97 near Milepost 132 in Deschutes County Update - Names Released*

Oregon State Police  - 03/26/18 Update - Names Released On Sunday, March 25, 2018 at approximately 3:30AM, the Oregon State Police responded to a two vehicle, head on crash, on US-97 near milepost 132 which is approximately two miles north of Bend. Preliminary investigation shows a 2005 Ford Explorer operated by Megan Rose HANDFORD (19) of Bend, Oregon was traveling southbound when it was struck head on in the southbound lane by a 2017 GMC truck operated by Justin David DICE (39) of Bend, Oregon traveling northbound. DICE was determined to be deceased on scene and HANDFORD was transported via air ambulance to St. Charles in Bend with life threatening injuries and is reported to have undergone surgery. Both vehicles were only occupied by the drivers. The Oregon State Police were assisted by the Bend Fire Department, Deschutes County Medical Examiner, Deschutes County District Attorney's Office and ODOT. Speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.

Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office  - 03/26/18  The victim in Saturday's homicide has been identified as Norman Charles Terrill Sr., 67, of Sandy. Mr. Terrill died from a gunshot wound. The suspect -- Roxanne Martin, 56, of Sandy -- has been booked into the Clackamas County Jail on one charge of Murder. She is being held without bail. A booking photo is attached. Oregon State Police  - 03/25/18 11:14 AM On Sunday, March 25, 2018 at approximately 3:30AM, the Oregon State Police responded to a two vehicle, head on crash, on US-97 near milepost 132 which is approximately two miles north of Bend. Preliminary investigation shows a 2005 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound when it was struck head on in the southbound lane by a 2017 GMC truck traveling northbound. The driver of the truck was deceased on scene and the driver of the explorer was transported via air ambulance to St. Charles in Bend with life threatening injuries and is reported to be in surgery at this time. The driver of the truck has been identified as 39 year old Justin David DICE, from Bend. Both vehicles were only occupied by the drivers.  The Oregon State Police were assisted by the Bend Fire Department, Deschutes County Medical Examiner, Deschutes County District Attorney's Office and ODOT. A 2015 GMC pickup towing an enclosed cargo trailer, operated by 35 year old Christopher Scott LINN from Albany attempted to avoid the pedestrian but struck him with the right front area of his pickup. LINN is cooperating with the investigation. The pedestrian who appears to be homeless was a 42 year old white male and his name has not been released pending next of kin notification.  The Oregon State Police was assisted by the Salem Fire Department, the Marion County Medical Examiner, the Marion County District Attorney's Office and ODOT.

One Dead After Shooting Near Sandy

Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office  - 03/24/18  On 3-24-18 at about 5:12pm, deputies with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to 18655 SE Autumn Way in unincorporated Sandy in response to a report of a shooting where the male victim was reported to be deceased. Deputies arrived at the location a short time later. They made several attempts to contact the suspect via phone, loudspeaker and text message. The suspect initially refused to comply with the instructions of the deputies on scene. After some time the suspect began exchanging text messages with dispatchers and after about one hour exited the residence and surrendered to deputies without incident. Deputies searched the house and located the body of a deceased male. At this time, detectives with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit are conducting their investigation while the Crime Scene Investigations Unit processes the scene with the help of the Clackamas County

Mike Biondi Incident Date/time: 03/24/2018 at 1:28 p.m. Location: 10087 NE Crooked River Dr. - Smith Rock State Park Suspect: Jaques, Daren - 54 year old male - Redmond Narrative: On 03/24/2018 at about 1:28 p.m., Deschutes County 911 received a report of a male subject (Jaques) who was near the Misery Ridge hiking trail, throwing rocks off of a ledge toward the trail and yelling at passerby. The initial reporting party advised that another hiker told her Jaques had threatened him. A second caller reported being told by other hikers that Jaques was armed with a .45 caliber handgun and was waiving it around. Over a dozen (including 5 on duty DCSO SWAT team members) law enforcement personnel from the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, Redmond Police Department, Bend Police Department and the Oregon State Police responded to the park. Springfield OSP Troopers Arrest Eluding Driver

Oregon State Police  - 03/24/18 3:38 PM On Friday, March 23, 2018 at approximately 12:23pm a Trooper from the Springfield Patrol office attempted to stop a high speed blue Dodge Charger on Highway 126E near milepost 49. The vehicle failed to yield and sped off last speed checked travelling eastbound at 92mph in heavy snow. The Trooper did not attempt to pursue the eluding vehicle. Approximately an hour later the Trooper observed the same vehicle travelling westbound near milepost 12 on Clear Lake Highway with damage to the front driver side, consistent with being involved in a vehicle crash. The vehicle was travelling at approximately 40 mph, driving recklessly, swerving in all lanes. The Trooper followed the vehicle without emergency lights, waiting for additional units. A second Trooper arrived and initiated a tactical vehicle intervention (TVI) on the vehicle near milepost 45 on Highway 126E. The driver resisted arrest and after a short struggle he was taken into custody. The d
