Large Scale Marijuana Grow Bust in Gresham

Image
Gresham Police Department Recently our Neighborhood Enforcement Team (NET) received multiple neighborhood complaints regarding a location in Southwest Gresham. It was reported that there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana coming from a residence. Neighbors stated that they were even considering selling their homes due to the severity of the problem.  With the assistance of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and Gresham Code Enforcement, the investigation revealed the residence had a total of 1879 plants, including 1088 mature plants and 791 starter plants. Oregon law does allow the growing of marijuana with some stipulations, but this was far beyond the legal limit.  We would like to thank the neighborhood for their reports and patience during the investigation. If you have any tips, please call 503-661-DRUG (3784).
