UPDATE ---Two Oregon State Police Troopers Assaulted Investigating an assault in Columbia County

Oregon State Police - 06/10/18 
On June 10, 2018, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department responded to an assault call. An attempt to locate was later put out for a black Toyota Camry.  At approximately 9:00 AM Oregon State Police Troopers located a vehicle that matched the ATL at the Road Runner gas station in Scappoose.  The person of interest in the assault, Orin GRAVES, age 43, from Warren was in the vehicle.  He was later arrested on outstanding warrants out of Clackamas County.  Columbia County is still investigating the original disturbance.
During the investigation the rear passenger, Christopher CORWIN, age 30, from Lebanon became combative and assaulted two troopers.  Corwin has a state wide felony warrant out of Linn County along with additional warrants.  Additional charges will include resisting arrest and assault on a public safety officer.
Surrounding agencies responded to assist as well as an off-duty Forest Grove officer who saw the altercation.  Suspect was taken into custody and had to be medically sedated because of believed drug use before being transported to the hospital with minor injuries. 
Both troopers received minor injuries and were transported to Emmanuel were they were treated and released. 

On June 10, 2018 Oregon State Troopers located a vehicle that  was believed to be involved in an assault that was being investigated by the Columbia County Sheriff's Department.
As they were investigating an altercation ensued and two Troopers are being seen at local hospitals for injuries.  The suspect had to be medically sedated before being transported for injuries.
