  Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a shooting incident with multiple victims at a vacation-rental property shortly after midnight on Dec. 31. One victim was transported to the hospital with a chest wound, and three others had left the scene to seek treatment at area hospitals. Authorities are seeking  tips . At 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting with injuries at 9221 SE Idleman Rd., a vacation-rental property in unincorporated Clackamas County. Deputies were able to get the 20-30 partygoers out of the house. Upon entry, they found one victim with a gunshot wound to his chest who was being attended to by partygoers. The deputies quickly stepped in and began life-saving measures. Deputies assessed the victim and applied a chest seal to his wound.   Grants Pass Dept. of Public Safety In May of 2016, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety (GPDPS) received a report involving crimes under Oregon law of Coercion, Computer Crime, and Use of a Child in Display of Sexual Conduct. The female victim, a resident of Grants Pass, had been contacted by an unknown male subject on KIK social media who claimed to have hacked her Apple iCloud account.  The suspect had obtained sexually explicit photos of the victim, taken when she was 15 years old.  The suspect threatened to send the photos to the victim’s friends and family if she did not send him more sexually explicit images and videos of herself.  After the female refused, the male suspect sent sexually explicit images of the victim (as a juvenile) to her family and friends via Facebook Messenger under an assumed name.  The investigation was assigned to a detective with the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, who was able to trace the offender’s IP address to Calgary, Canada.  He t

  Portland Police Bureau UPDATE ShaRee Rhone was found safe last night and is back home with family. The Portland Police Bureau appreciates the public's assistance in helping find her. Portland Police Missing Persons detectives and concerned family members are asking for help from the public to look for a missing woman who has not been seen in over a week. On Tuesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:07p.m., North Precinct officers responded to a missing person call. Family and friends of ShaRee Rhone had not seen her since December 21st. The Portland Police Missing Persons Unit has taken the case and has not been able to locate her. They are hoping that the public will keep an eye out and report any information. While she does not have any known medical issues, she has struggled since the death of her daughter who was the victim of a homicide in July. She was last seen at her home in the 4500 block of Northeast Cleveland Avenue. Rhone (photo) is a black female, 64 years old, 5'5"

ADULT IN CUSTODY WALKS AWAY FROM TRANSITION CENTER

  Marion Co. Sheriff's Office Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating an Adult in Custody, AIC, who walked away from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Transition Center. Jose Daniel Martinez, 26, walked away from the facility around 9:04 p.m., on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. Martinez was in custody for a Parole Violation, his scheduled release date was March 9th, 2021. Martinez is a Hispanic adult male with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5’7” tall and weighs 220 lbs. The Marion County Transition Center prepares AIC’s for re-entry into the community prior to release from custody. AICs are allowed to leave the facility for pre-approved treatment or medical appointments.   Deputies are asking anyone with information about Martinez to call the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 503-588-5032.

POLICE SEEK HELP LOCATING MISSING ENDANGERED MAN

  Gresham Police Dept Gresham, Ore. – Gresham Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 76-year-old man. Joe Roper was last seen on December 23rd, 2020 at his home located in the 3800 block of SE 14th St in Gresham. Roper shows signs of early dementia. He has light brownish gray hair, blue eyes, a mustache and is missing his teeth. Roper is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds.  Anyone who knows of Roper whereabouts is asked to call 911.

DEATH INVESTIGATION - LINCOLN COUNTY

  Oregon State Police Oregon State Police Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the remains of an individual discovered in rural Lincoln County.   On December 10, 2020, Investigators were summoned to the H.B. Van Duzer Forest State Scenic Corridor for a death investigation. At this location, investigators found the remains of a female child.  The Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office estimate the deceased’s age to be 6.5 to 10 years old.  She is approximately 3’10” to 4’6” tall, and had long hair that is dark brown or black.  Her race or ethnic origin has yet to be determined, but DNA analysis is not complete.  Due to the condition of the remains she had likely been deceased at least 30 days before she was discovered.  If you have any information that might help investigators in identifying this child, please call 800-442-0776 or *OSP (*677).

SHOOTING IN GRESHAM LEAVES ONE INJURED

  Gresham Police Dept Gresham, Ore.— Just after 2:00 p.m. officers responded to the report of shots fired in the area of E 172nd AVE and Burnside. Upon arrival, police located a teenaged male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. Detectives are currently leading the investigation. The suspects in this case are possibly Hispanic males associated a white sedan. There is no known risk to the public at this time.

North Bend Man Dies in Car Crush Incident-Person of Interest Identified

A person of interest is being sought after a North Bend Man was found dead  in a North Bend residential neighborhood late Sunday morning from what authorities say was extensive crush-type injuries.  40-year-old Joshua James Thompson with a last known address of Coquille is being sought as a person of interest in connection with the incident. According to District Attorney Paul Frasier, 28-year-old Michael David Moore of North Bend was allegedly struck by a Chevy Tahoe that ran into the residence at 2719 Union Avenue. The driver of the Tahoe then reportedly left the scene before the vehicle was found abandoned by Law Enforcement a short distance away on Chester Street.  Frasier says the investigation revealed three vehicles were initially involved in a road rage incident that began near the Liberty Theatre on Highway 101. Bend Woman Assaulted

Bend Police Dept.   On Friday, December 25, 2020 at about 12:48 pm, Officers from the Bend Police Department were informed about a 43 year old female who sustained a life-threatening head injury earlier in the morning and was transported by Ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center.  Officers were informed that the injury to the female appeared suspicious.  Officers began to conduct an investigation at the location where this occurred on Granite Drive.  At the time, the occupants of the residence, to include Randall Kilby, stated that the victim had fallen and hit her head.  Officers continued to investigate this incident and determined that the victim’s injuries were inconsistent with what was originally reported by Kilby. Detectives with the Bend Police Department along with the assistance from Oregon State Police served a search warrant at the Granite Drive address.  Kilby was taken into custody and lodged at the Deschutes County Adult Jail for Assault II.  The victim remains in criti

Medford Police Suspect: Vincent Jacobo, 36 years old. 5'6", 180 lbs.  Jacobo eluded officers tonight and got away. He was driving this red 2002 Chevy Truck, OR/ 243 GFT, which is still outstanding. This vehicle was also involved in a hit and run earlier today. Jacobo is well known to law enforcement and is wanted on a Parole Violation for a weapons offense, so use caution.   Jackson County Sheriff's Office UPDATE: Missing Girl Found Case 20-19487 At about 6pm JCSO announced that the missing ten year old from Prospect, Dystanie Lynn Rome-Elliott, was found and is OK Dystanie is now home with her family. TUALATIN POLICE ASK FOR PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY ROBBERY SUSPECT

  Tualatin Police Dept. On December 23rd 2020 at approximately 1125 hours, the below depicted male suspect entered the Local Coin Company at 19354 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Tualatin, and robbed the victim at gun point. The male suspect displayed and pointed what was described to be a long barreled (possibly semi-automatic) silver handgun at the victim. The suspect demanded the victim remove a tray of coins from the glass display case and place the coins in front of him. The suspect removed five coins valued at $7,000 and fled the scene in a black early 2000’s Chevrolet Silverado pickup which is depicted below. The pickup also has a bed cap with a curved end. The Bed cap is missing the rear window. After the robbery, the suspect responded to Harry’s Coin shop located at 9214 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Beaverton, and sold the coins for $5,497.

SUSPECTS IN CRESWELL PUBLIC WORKS BURGLARY ARRESTED

Sheriff's Office On November 21, 2020, Lane County Sheriff's Office deputies assigned to patrol the City of Creswell received a report of a burglary at the Creswell City Public Works building on Highway 99 in Creswell. Suspects entered the property, broken into a shop building and stole a city maintenance vehicle along with several thousand dollars worth of tools and equipment. After releasing information to the community and other police agencies, the vehicle was recovered by Cottage Grove Police Department. After a thorough investigation by Creswell deputies, two suspects were identified in the case. On December 23, 2020, deputies located the suspects, identified as 34 year old Joshua Allen Wills of Creswell and 51 year old Renae Kay Wills of Creswell, in the Pleasant Hill area.  After investigation, Renae and Joshua were both arrested on charges related to the Creswell Public works Burglary and vehicle theft, as follows: Joshua Allen Wills was arrested for Burglar

Zelda Sudhoff and her Grandparents Found and are Home Safe

  Lane County Sheriff's Office After two nights in the forest 4 year old Zelda is reunited with her mom!  Zelda and her grandparents (reported missing on 12/22 after not returning from a trip into the forest to find a Christmas tree) were located late this morning when a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter spotted them and directed ground teams to their location.  After getting the family into a warm place with some food and water, we learned that their car got stuck in an area with downed trees and snow.  Thankfully they had a blanket, some water, a tarp, and snacks in the car, and were all wearing warm clothing.   A huge thank you to all of the Search and Rescue volunteers who assisted with the search, to the U.S. Coast Guard for their assistance, and to the community who kept their eyes out for the family and called in tips!   Image 1:  Zelda and mom get a great big hug as they are reunited. SHERIFF'S OFFICE SEARCHES FOR MISSING FAMILY IN THE FALL CREEK AREA

Sheriff's Office Lane County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue teams, along with multiple deputies, are searching for a four year old girl named Zelda and her grandparents, Sharon and Gregory Poitra, who were last seen yesterday when they left to go cut down a Christmas tree in their white, 2007 Toyota Matrix (OR license plate 502 CWD).  The three were reported missing to the Eugene Police Department today when the girl's mother went to pick Zelda up at the grandparent's house and there was no indication they had returned from the Willamette National Forest.  It is unknown which part of the forest the family was headed.   Investigation, including pinging the grandparent's phones, indicates the three may have traveled to the Fall Creek area.  Lane County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue teams have been searching along with deputies but so far have not located the family. WANTED SUBJECTS ARRESTED AFTER REPORT OF SHOOTING EAST OF REDMOND, PURSUIT, AND CRASH

  Deschutes Co. Sheriff's Office Detectives learned during their investigation on December 21, 2020 that Thomas Cross stole the Ford Ranger and used a handgun during the theft of the vehicle. The vehicle owner’s girlfriend later observed Cross and Campbell in the vehicle and believed something was wrong due to her boyfriend not being inside. She used her vehicle in an attempt to block the truck on a dirt road. She reported that Cross shot at her after she blocked him in. After Cross and Campbell fled the area she called 911 to report the incident.   During the subsequent lengthy investigation, detectives determined Campbell had unlawfully entered an occupied home in the 4000 block of NE Vaughn.  Campbell then pointed a firearm at the homeowner inside the residence, but the homeowner was able to get away and lock herself and her children inside a bathroom. Three People Missing While Looking for a Christmas Tree

The grandparents of four year old Zelda Sudhoff took her to go get a Christmas tree yesterday 12-21 at a little after 2:00 pm and have not been seen or heard from since. They were last seen in a White Toyota Matrix and it's believed to be in the Blue River area. Zelda Sudhoff is four years old and wears pink glasses.  Her grandfather Greg Poita is 63 years old he is approximately 6' tall, Brown hair blue eyes, grey facial hair and wears glasses. Zelda's grandmother Sharon Poita is 60 years old approximately 5'10" blonde hair green eyes.  Please call the authorities if have any information.  More information will be added to this post as it becomes available.
