Red Cross Opens Wildfire Evacuation Shelter in Grants Pass, OR

The Red Cross has opened a shelter for wildfire evacuees in Grants Pass, Oregon, due to the fire near Hugo. 

The shelter is located at:

Josephine County Fairground
Arts and Crafts Building
1451 Fairgrounds Road
Grants Pass, OR 97527


Individuals and families affected by the wildfire and in need of shelter assistance are encouraged to simply show up at the shelter for help.

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.
