Disturbance in Welches leads to shooting; detectives seek person of interest, CCSO case #18-032295
Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office - 12/01/18
On November 30, 2018, at approximately 9:26 p.m. two males were involved in a disturbance at 25500 E Welches Rd in Welches Oregon. As a result of the disturbance, a male identified as Eddie Osborne, 25 years old from Welches, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Clackamas County deputies provided medical aid and evacuated Mr. Osborne from the area. Mr. Osborne was transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment, and his condition is unknown at this time.
Detective are looking to speak with Michael John Vavra, 40 years old from Welches, who was reported to have been in the area at the time of the shooting. CCSO SWAT responded to the scene but were unable to locate Mr. Vavra. Mr. Vavra is known to frequent Welches, Rhododendron, and Sandy areas of Clackamas County.
