New Years Eve Shooting Arrests

Gresham, Ore. - Gresham Police make two arrests in regards to New Years Eve homicide. On Dec. 31 at approximately 8:15 p.m., police responded to the 18800 block of NE Irving Ct. There they found 23-year-old Joshua Cermack deceased at the scene, and 19-year-old Christian Stai with life threatening injuries.

Last night the East Metro SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 18500 block of NE Everett St. They arrested 18-year-old Zion Evans and 18-year-old

Jacob Cadle. Both are being charged with murder in the 1st degree and robbery in the 1st degree. The shooting is believed to be drug related. No further information is being released at this time.
