UPDATE: DEATH INVESTIGATION NOW DETERMINED TO BE MURDER-SUICIDE

Gresham, Ore.— On the morning of May 10, Gresham Police and the East County Major Crimes Team (MCT) began a death investigation in the 700 block of SE 185th Ave. During the investigation, three people were discovered deceased in an apartment. Following crime scene investigation and autopsies performed today, it was determined that 31-year-old Ashley Palmer, of Gresham, and her two children, ages five and nine, died from gunshot wounds in a murder-suicide event.
