UPDATE: DEATH INVESTIGATION NOW DETERMINED TO BE MURDER-SUICIDE

Gresham, Ore.— On the morning of May 10, Gresham Police and the East County Major Crimes Team (MCT) began a death investigation in the 700 block of SE 185^th Ave. During the investigation, three people were discovered deceased in an apartment. Following crime scene investigation and autopsies performed today, it was determined that 31-year-old Ashley Palmer, of Gresham, and her two children, ages five and nine, died from gunshot wounds in a murder-suicide event.
