DRIVER ARRESTED IN FATAL PEDESTRIAN CRASH

Gresham, Ore.— On May 13, 2021, Gresham Police arrested 20-year-old Cameron A. King for Criminally Negligent Homicide and 2 counts of Assault IV. He was lodged in the Multnomah County Jail with his bail set at $25,000.

 

On March 6th, 2021 around 5:50 p.m. Gresham police officers responded to a report of pedestrians hit by a car on NW Eastman Pkwy and NW 3rd St.  When police arrived, they found 9-year-old Baylei Bissonette deceased at the scene and two other pedestrians were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  King stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
