SUSPECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED

North Bend Police Department

 

We have identified the suspect shown in the previously-released photographs pertaining to the three homicidal deaths that occurred yesterday in the City of North Bend in Oregon.

 

The individual has been identified as 30-year-old Oen Evan Nicholson (Oen in the correct spelling). He has been a resident of the State of California in the past and is believed to have been living in the North Bend area since at least last October. His current whereabouts are not known.

 

Oen Nicholson must be considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone seeing him should not approach him and should immediately contact 9-1-1.

Coos County District Attorney R. Paul Frasier also released the name of the deceased person in the trailer at the RV Park of The Mill Casino in North Bend. He is identified as 83-year-old Charles Simms Nicholson. We believe that Oen Nicholson is the son of Charles Nicholson.
