Springfield OR. Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a grass fire on I-5 Northbound near the Gateway Exit in Springfield.  10 Firefighters responded and kept the fire from spreading beyond the pedestrian bridge.  There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation. The Interstate was slowed down due to a lane closure during suppression efforts but is now back open.
