TELEPHONE OUTAGE AFFECTING 9-1-1 SERVICE

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has been notified of a telephone service outage which may disrupt the ability of residents affected to dial 9-1-1 from their landline telephones.

Households within the community of Days Creek and the surrounding area have been identified as being impacted by the service outage.

Residents who have cellular telephone service may be able to dial 9-1-1 from their cellular telephone to summon emergency services.

At this time, the telephone service provider is unable to provide an estimated time of repair.
