Medford Police

On Saturday, January 27 at about 5:50 p.m. we responded to the report of shots fired at a laundromat on the 600 block of Crater Lake Avenue. Patrol Officers were on scene within two minutes and discovered a male with multiple gunshot wounds inside the laundromat. This victim was pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives were called to the scene and have been working this case overnight. 

At this time, we are not releasing the name of the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting as this is an active and ongoing investigation. We have been unable to contact next-of-kin.
