Myrtle Creek Police 10/14/18 On August 18, 2018, The Myrtle Creek Police Department began an investigation into William Callahan, 55, of Roseburg, after he contacted someone he thought was juvenile female on social media. That juvenile was actually a Myrtle Creek Police officer. During their online conversations, Callahan tried several times to get the female to send him nude photos of herself. Callahan sent the girl photos of his exposed genitals on more than one occasion, along with using graphic sexual talk with the girl. On October 12, 2018, at about 7:00 PM, MCPD, along with assistance from Oregon State Police Troopers, served a search warrant at Callahan’s residence on Oak Hill Road in Roseburg. Callahan was taken into custody when he was located on the property. Other evidence was also seized at the scene. Deputies Search for Suspect in Robbery

Jackson Co. Sheriff's Office  - 10/14/18  White City, Ore - Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office are asking the public to be on the lookout for the suspect in connection with a robbery earlier this week.  Ricardo Escobar, born in 1993, is suspected of committing a burglary and robbery at the Thunderbird Estates on Falcon Street on October 11.   The public should avoid contact with Escobar as he has a violent past.   Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Ricardo Escobar is asked to contact the White City Community Action Team of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at 541-776-7208 White City, Ore – Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a robbery in White City.  On October 11, 2018, at about 2:15 p.m., a robbery was reported at Thunderbird Estates on Falcon Street. Gresham Police Dept  - 10/14/18  Gresham, Ore.— A local business fell victim to theft when the male pictured below walked in the doors of Eastside Music located at 21977 SE Stark ST. The business’s security cameras capture the suspect as he enters the store and asks where the guitar picks area located. The suspect has time to casually sit down and play one of the electric keyboards on display before walking over to a wall where he selects a black LTD electric guitar. He then disappears into a room only to emerge moments later with a coat draped over the now stolen guitar. The suspect walks out of business and appears to travel westbound on SE Stark ST. Anyone with information related to the suspect’s identity is encouraged to contact the Gresham Police Department.

Crime Stoppers Featured Case #18-32 - Andrew Hathaway Homicide

Crime Stoppers of Oregon  - 10/11/18  The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to solve the homicide of Andrew Hathaway. On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at 1:01 a.m., Portland Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the report of a vehicle fire in the 6200 block of North Marine Drive. As firefighters battled the car fire, they located what was believed to be a deceased person inside the vehicle, which was a white 2003 Chevrolet Impala. Portland Police Bureau Homicide detectives responded to the scene to conduct a death investigation. The Oregon State Medical Examiner identified the deceased as 28-year-old Andrew Patrick Hathaway of Milwaukie and determined that he died of homicidal violence. There is no suspect information in this case. Single vehicle fatal crash on Lone Rock Rd. in Gilliam County

Oregon State Police  - 10/10/18 On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at approximately 8:07 AM, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Lone Rock Road near mile post 13 in Gilliam County. Preliminary investigation revealed a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by Karen Buell (62) of Condon, was traveling eastbound on Lone Rock Road when, for unknown reasons, left the roadway and rolled down a steep embankment.  Buell sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. OSP was assisted by the Gilliam County Sheriff's Office, South Gilliam County Fire, and Gilliam County Road Department.

Oregon State Police  - 10/10/18  OSP Fish and Wildlife Troopers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for shooting and leaving (to waste) a fork-horn buck the night of October 5, 2018. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deer was shot once from Panther Creek Road (a spur road off 12-mile road about 3.5 miles from West Fork Cow Creek Road). Those with information are asked to contact Sr. Trooper Baimbridge directly at (541) 817-4473 or OSP dispatch at (541) 440-3333. Those with information can remain anonymous and a TIP reward will be offered for information leading to a citation or arrest in the case. Oregon State Police requesting public's assistance in waste of bull elk in Wheeler County

Oregon State Police  - 10/09/18  The Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division is asking for the public's help to identify the person(s) responsible for shooting and wasting a 4x5 bull elk in the Ochoco Unit southeast of Mitchell in Wheeler County.  The elk was located off of USFS Road 12 near USFS Road 42.    The elk was discovered on October 1, 2018 and reported to OSP Fish and Wildlife Troopers.  It was determined the elk had been killed 48 hours before discovery.  The animal had been shot, gutted, and then left to waste - no meat was taken. Clackamas Co. Sheriff's Office  - 10/09/18 Please reference CCSO Case # 18-027619 The Clackamas County Sheriff`s Office is currently conducting a  Search and Rescue  (SAR) operation on Mt. Hood for missing/injured hiker  David Yaghmourian . Mr. Yaghmourian, 30, of Phoenix, AZ, was reportedly hiking the Timberline Trail with a companion and sustained an injury to his leg. On the last day of the hike (Monday, October 8, 2018), Mr. Yaghmourian stopped to rest while they were returning to  Timberline Lodge . His companion continued on to the lodge and waited for him there. Mr. Yaghmourian was last seen at the eastern junction of the Timberline Trail at the Pacific Crest Trail. He is described as follows: 30 years old Black hair, brown eyes 5'10" tall, 150 lbs. Last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, black Columbia jacket and tan pants, with a large black backpack with red trim and what appeared to be a yellow towel on top.
