Multnomah Co. Sheriff's Office  - 12/18/18 On Monday 12/17/2018 at approximately 12:15 p.m. Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue (SAR) teams, working alongside searchers from Mountain Wave Search and Rescue, Pacific NW Search and Rescue, and Washington County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue discovered a deceased female, later identified as Marie Helena Evans. Ms. Evans’s was found near the bank of the Columbia River, south of her home. Preliminary reports indicate that Ms. Evans died from a combination of exposure to the weather and poor physical health, and there were no signs of foul play. MCSO detectives are involved and will be doing a death investigation.  The Ms. Evans's body has been turned over to the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office.  No further details are available at this time.          

Corvallis Police  - 12/18/18  At approximately 3:58 PM on December 17, 2018, Corvallis Police Department Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of NW Monroe Ave for a large fight involving multiple people.  Upon arriving, Officers discovered that six people were involved in the altercation, one of which had already left the area.  Four people were detained on-scene and a fifth male, identified as James Marr, was found to be suffering from a medical event which required transport to the hospital.  It is not yet known if the medical event was directly related to the fight.  Four of the individuals involved in the fight were transported to the Benton County Jail where they were charged with Disorderly Conduct II and released.  Those four are identified as Albert Grigorov (age 22), Ralph Bolger Jr. (age 64), Noah Orduna (age 23), and Conor Butler (age 19).

Oregon State Police  - 12/18/18 On December 6, 2018, an Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Trooper from the Roseburg Area Command responded to the report of a poaching and trespassing incident that occurred on December 5, 2018, in the Drain area. Investigation revealed that a large black tail buck deer was shot within feet of a residence in Drain.  The event was captured on the home security system.    With assistance from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, subjects of interest was identified. On December 14, 2018, Troopers and Sheriff’s Deputies contacted the subjects of interest at their residence. The antlers and head for a 4X3 black tail deer were recovered  The meat that was recovered from a butcher shop will be donated to a charity. Douglas Co. Sheriff's Office  - 12/18/18  SUTHERLIN, Ore.  - A crash Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Roseburg man.  At 7:28 am, 9-1-1 dispatchers received calls of a single vehicle crash in the 17300-block of Nonpareil Road. Emergency crews arrived to find a 1999 Volvo Sanitation Truck owned by Sutherlin Sanitary Service which had been traveling east bound that left the roadway and crashed into a tree coming to rest on its side. The driver, 51 year-old Dennis Lee Roderick of Roseburg, was pronounced deceased at the scene.  The crash investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at 541-440-4471.  Next of kin has been notified.

Bend Police Dept.  - 12/17/18 UPDATE- At approximately 0057 hrs. on this date, a private citizen had requested Bend Police conduct a welfare check on an elderly male they observed sitting along the roadway on Mt. Washington Drive near NE 3rd Street in Bend.  Bend Police responded and contacted an elderly male who was identified as Jerome Jewett, the subject of the missing person case.  Given Jewett's extended exposure to the cold weather, he was transported to St. Charles Medical Center for evaluation. The Bend Police Department would like to recognize the citizen who reported their concerns to law enforcement.  We would also like to thank the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office Search & Rescue division for their tireless assistance in this case. Tigard Police  - 12/17/18  Just before 5 p.m. on Monday, December 17, a pedestrian attempting to cross Hall Blvd. in Tigard was struck by a vehicle. The incident occurred in the area of a Fanno Creek Trail pedestrian crossing spanning Hall Blvd., just south of Tigard City Hall.The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to OHSU. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. The incident closed Hall Blvd. to traffic in both directions during the peak of rush hour traffic. TVF&R arrived with Tigard Police officers and provided emergency medical care to the victim. Police have not been able to confirm the identity of the man as he was not carrying any identification. Darkness and heavy rain at the time of the crash was reported. The incident occurred in the area of a Fanno Creek Trail pedestrian crossing spanning Hall Blvd.  Tigard Police is presently investigating the incident.

Washington Co. Sheriff's Office  - 12/17/18  UPDATE- The missing juvenile returned home around 8:30 p.m. this evening. The original media release is below On December 17, 2018, at 6:41 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing juvenile in the 13500 block of Southwest Jenkins Road in the Cedar Hills community. Deputies learned a family member had come home around 4 p.m. and discovered their son, 15-year-old son, Jimmy Martinez, was not there. He was last seen around 11 a.m. at his residence. Jimmy is diagnosed with autism and his family is concerned he will be unable to find his way home on his own. Jimmy is described as a Latino boy, 5-foot-11 tall, 130 lb, with medium length brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt over a white t-shirt, black pants, black Adidas shoes, and a black baseball cap with a yellow Pittsburgh Pirates “P” on it. Bend Police Dept.  - 12/17/18 On December 16th at 2:45am, officer with the Bend Police Department responded to a parking lot on the SE corner of NW Newport and NW Wall Street for the report of a person found on the ground. A community member found a person on the ground in the parking lot, who was later determined to be deceased. Bend Police Detectives responded and have been investigating this incident since early morning of December 16th. It was determined very early in the investigation that there was no threat to the community. This investigation is currently ongoing.

Oregon State Police  - 12/17/18 On Thursday, November 22, 2018 (Thanksgiving Day) at 9:23 P.M, South Lane Fire Department, Goshen-Pleasant Hill Fire Department, Dexter Fire Department, and Eugene-Springfield Fire Department responded to the Super 8 Motel located at 345 Oregon Avenue, in Creswell for a fire.  Upon arrival the fire was discovered and extinguished.  On Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 1:42 AM a fire was reported at the same location. The fire departments again responded and extinguished the fire.  Due to the suspicious nature of the fires, the Oregon State Police Arson Unit was requested to assist in the investigation.  Arson  Detectives responded and led a joint origin and cause Investigation with the South Lane Fire Department and Lane County Sheriff’s Office.  The fire was determined to be incendiary and intentionally set.  Following an investigation, detectives learned the owners of the Super 8 Motel franchise, Inder Singh and Satinder Singh, intentionally planne

Portland Police Bureau  - 12/16/18  An Oregonian article: "2 Years in, Mayor Wheeler struggles with power, allies and promises" contained inaccuracies that need correcting.  The article said: "Wheeler and Outlaw separately gave interviews to reporters beforehand. Wheeler said the plan was Outlaw's idea, but she promptly responded that was not the case, saying the plan 'came from the mayor's office.'"  What was shared with the reporter, but was left out of the article, was that my response also stated that, after the August 4th demonstration, I asked Mayor Wheeler for additional tools as it related to addressing violent, disruptive behavior during recent protests. The Mayor's Office worked with the City Attorney's Office to draft an ordinance to address my request.  While I did not draft the ordinance, I was in full support of the ordinance, as I testified and I have consistently publicly stated. Multnomah Co. Sheriff's Office  - 12/16/18  The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating 76-year-old MARIE HELENA EVANS.  Ms. EVANS was last seen on 12/15/18 while walking near her residence at 13004 NW Marina Way in northwest Multnomah County.  It is unknown what clothing Ms. EVANS was wearing when she left for her walk. Ms. EVANS suffers from early onset dementia and wears glasses.  She is 5'4" tall, weighs 150 pounds and has white hair. Oregon State Police  - 12/16/18   On Saturday, December 15, 2018 at approximately 10:07 PM, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Hwy 99W near milepost 114. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2000 Honda Accord operated by, Saucedo Salvador-Mendez (21) of Cheshire was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed and collided with the back of a southbound 2011 Ford F350 PU operated by, Peter Haag (20) of Junction City.   The front seat passenger in the Honda Accord, Francisco Jose Perez-Velasco (33) of Corvallis, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The rear passenger in the Honda Accord, Chase Pomaikai Kealoha (21) of Junction City, was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries - not transported to the hospital. Salvador-Mendez was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend and treated for injuries.  Haag sustained minor injuries

Linn County Sheriff's Office  - 12/15/18  Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon reports on December 13, 2018, his Detectives arrested Eric Wayne Dille, 46 of Mill City, for one count of Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree and one count of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. Eric Dille was arrested after video evidence implicated him in these crimes, which occurred several years prior.  The victim in this case is an adult female, known by Eric Dille, and was incapacitated at the time the crimes occurred. Video evidence leads investigators believe there are other female victims.  Anyone with information about this investigation is encouraged to contact Detective Mike Rossiter of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office at 541-967-3950.

Deschutes Co. Sheriff's Office  - 12/14/18 On December 11, 2018,  the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into Eric Jonsson. The Sheriff’s Office received reports from two females believing they had been drugged and sexually assaulted by Jonsson. During the investigation, Sheriff’s Office Detectives obtained evidence and information allowing them to obtain a search warrant for Jonsson and his residence. On December 13, 2018,  at approximately 2231 hours, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Detectives executed a search warrant at Jonsson’s residence. The search warrant was executed using the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team. The SWAT team attempted to get Jonsson to exit the residence for over 30 minutes without success. During this time the SWAT team utilized two noise/flash diversionary devices causing very loud bangs in the area. Shinn has several felony warrants for Sodomy in the First Degree out of Multnomah County, in connection with a child abuse investigation. Jefferson Fire Dist.  - 12/14/18  Today 1:21 p.m. Jefferson Fire District was dispatched to an ATV rollover near Parrish Gap Rd., Jefferson, Oregon. Upon arrival, Division Chief Louis Gisler, was informed a hunter was riding a ATV up the side of a hill and had rolled it. He was located approximately 1 mile up the side of a steep hill. Due to the rough terrain, a few firefighter/paramedics started hiking up to the patient. At the same time, Albany Fire was dispatched with a sport utility side by side. Albany arrived and assisted with Jefferson fire personnel to get the patient off the side of the hill and to a nearby landing zone where they met Life Flight Network to transport the patient to a local hospital.

Douglas Co. Sheriff's Office  - 12/14/18  UPDATE - 01/04/2019 Linda Rene Smith has been located by Sheriff's Detectives in the State of Washington. She left the area on her own accord and is safe.  Smith was previously reported missing on December 11, 2018. ROSEBURG, Ore . - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking information as to the whereabouts of 60 year-old Linda Rene Smith of Roseburg.  Smith was reported as a missing person to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office by her roommate on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. At that time, a deputy took a report and entered Smith into a national law enforcement database as missing. Efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful.   It is reported Smith left her home in the Green District in a white panel van with an unknown license plate on Saturday, December 8th around 3:00 pm with a male companion. Smith had informed her roommate that she would be gone for a few days, but has not yet returned and has not been he

Oregon State Police  - 12/14/18   On Thursday, December 13, 2018 at approximately 5:48 PM Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a two vehicle, head on collision, on Hwy 20 near milepost 4. Preliminary investigation revealed a  Chevrolet Cobalt, operated by Jane Dunn (64) of Albany, was westbound on Hwy 20 when it crossed the center line and struck an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by Kelly Blodgett (40) of Corvallis.   Dunn was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  Blodgett was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  An adult passenger and 4 juvenile children in the Tahoe were not injured. Hwy 20 was partially closed for approximately three hours.  OSP was assisted by the Albany Fire Department and ODOT.
