Reward Offered to Identify the Suspect in a 2017 Arson Fire - Crime Stoppers Featured Case #18-16

The Portland Fire & Rescue Arson Unit, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect in a 2017 arson fire.

On August 9, 2017, at 8:40 p.m., a fire was reported at a mobile home community located at 16901 Southeast Division Street. An unknown male subject on a bicycle was caught on video leaving the crime scene, carrying items that he obtained while inside a trailer.

The suspect is believed to be a white male adult on a bicycle.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.

Information about any unsolved homicide is eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. Information about any other unsolved felony crime is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects. Links can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
