Roseburg area man is in jail on child sex abuse charges

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on May 21st, DCSO began an investigation into a report that Stephen Jones had sexually abused children. O’Dell said that it had been reported that the 35 year old man had sexually abused more than one child under age 12, who were known to him.

O’Dell said that it had been reported that the 35 year old man had sexually abused more than one child under age 12, who were known to him.
Jones was jailed on Monday and charged with two counts of first degree sodomy, four counts of first degree sex abuse and for one count of incest. He was initially detained on $1.8 million dollars bail.
