ROSEBURG POLICE ASKING FOR HELP TO I.D. ARSON SUSPECT
The Roseburg Police Department is asking for public assistance in identifying an arson suspect. On June 24th, 2018 just after 11:00 PM, the Roseburg Police and Fire Departments responded to a reported fire on the outside of a business in the 700 block of SE Stephens. It appeared someone had started a fire on some materials that were leaned against the building, and the fire quickly spread up the exterior of the building. There were no suspects identified at the time, but we later discovered some video surveillance footage from a nearby security system which showed the suspect starting the fire and running away. There are several still photos taken from that footage, and we are asking for your assistance in identifying the suspect. If you recognize the person in the photos, please contact the Roseburg Police Department.
