18-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Rock Creek, Suspect Sought

Washington Co. Sheriff's Office - 09/30/18 

On Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 12:47 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of gunfire at a residence in the 17700 block of Northwest Connett Meadow Court in the Rock Creek community. Initial reports were that someone had been shot during an altercation at a large party at the location.

Deputies arrived and rendered medical aid to an 18-year-old male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Investigators learned the suspect fled the scene in the moments after the shooting. Multiple deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The victim was transported to a local trauma hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Detectives with the inter-agency Washington County Major Crimes Team are leading the investigation. Personnel with the Oregon State Police Forensic Services Division are assisting at the scene.

This investigation is in its early stages and no suspect information is available for release at this time. Investigators continue to interview witnesses and collect additional information.
