Death Investigation- Bend

On February 26th, 2019, Bend Police Officers responded to an address on 1759 NE Larado Way for a reported dispute.  Officers contacted multiple people on scene who advised one of the involved persons had walked away toward their motorhome, which was parked in the east parking lot of St. Charles Medical Center.  Bend Police Officers located the motorhome in the St. Charles Medical Center Parking lot. They followed shoe tracks a short distance from the motorhome and located a deceased adult male on the ground.  The cause of death is under investigation.  The Bend Police Department Detective unit will be assisted by the Oregon State Police Crime Lab, Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office and Medical Examiner with this investigation. The identity of the deceased person is being withheld pending next of kin notification.   More information will be forthcoming.
