Seaside resident arrested for child pornography

Seaside, Ore. – March 25, 2019 – On March 22, 2019, the Seaside Police Department executed a search warrant at 850 Oceanway Street in Seaside. The search warrant was obtained based on an investigation involving the possession of child pornography obtained from online sources.
Detectives arrested David Norman Stanley Hall, 50, of Seaside for encouraging child sex abuse, using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct, and possession of child pornography. Hall was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Clatsop County Jail.
There is no information at this time to indicate that the victims are local to our area, but rather that the content was obtained from multiple online sources.
