Officer Involved Shooting Update

The officer involved was released from the hospital earlier this morning. He is now home with family, recovering from multiple gunshot wounds to his leg. The officer’s name is not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

The suspect taken into custody in last night’s officer involved shooting in Milwaukie, has been identified to be 30-year-old Douglas Joseph Teter. Douglas Teter was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail and is facing charges of Assault I and Attempted Aggravated Murder (No Bail). Douglas Teter also had six outstanding warrants for his arrest for; Criminal Mischief II (X2), Interfering with a Peace Officer (X2), DUII and Disorderly Conduct II.
