Commercial Structure Fire - 2333 NE Diamond Lake Blvd

At 7:09 a.m. on June 18, 2019, Roseburg Fire Department personnel responded to a reported commercial structure fire at 2333 NE Diamond Lake Blvd.  The reporting party notified dispatch that black smoke was billowing out of one of the roll up doors at the location. 

Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the roll up door located at the back of a commercial structure.  Firefighters forced entry into the building and quickly extinguished the fire.  After extinguishment of the fire, firefighters checked for extensions within the structure walls and ventilated the building.  Once ventilation was completed, department personnel secured the scene and conducted an investigation.  The fire is currently under investigation and believed to be accidental in nature. 

A total of 12 firefighters assisted with the firefighting operations. Other agencies assisting with the fire included Umpqua Valley Ambulance, Roseburg Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Department, Pacific Power, and Avista Utilities.
