Stabbing Suspect Arrested

The victim was transported to a local hospital where they underwent surgery for their injuries.
Medford Police Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. The suspect was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. The case is still being investigated at this time.

On 070119, at approximately 1848 hrs, the Medford Police Department responded to a stabbing at Hawthorne Park. The victim was located in the park with a stab wound to the abdomen. The suspect was chased by witnesses from the scene and threw the involved knife into Bear Creek. Witnesses were able to detain the suspect until police arrived.
