An investigation revealed Montoya was giving Christian a ride when she started attacking him, then tackled him when he stopped the van and tried to get her out of his vehicle. Misfeldt tried to intervene and then Christian charged and slammed into her Camry, denting the door. Witnesses held the suspect until police arrived. | ||

Her vehicle continued into the Parkway Market parking lot where it collided head-on with a large boulder. Bernhardt was transported to Mercy by ambulance for a non-life-threatening head injury. Her vehicle was not drivable and required tow. There was no public/private property damage. Roseburg Towing responded and removed the vehicle. | ||

| DETAIL(S): | Officers responded to reports of a woman crawling through the window located at a residence in the area. When they arrived, Jacob pointed to Welsh and said he did not know her and she had just crawled through his window into his house. Welsh entered the residence through a window and was standing in the living room for no apparent reason. Welsh also had a Walmart shopping cart with her that had a sign attached to it stating Walmart would pursue theft charges if the cart was taken from the store. Welsh was arrested for the above charges. | ||

During this time, Germond kicked one member of the Mercy staff in the throat and bit another on the back side of the right arm. Neither Mercy staff member complained of lasting ill effects or any pain.
