ROSEBURG POLICE OFFICER CHRIS BONEBRAKE NAMED OFFICER OF THE YEAR FOR 2019

Officer Chris Bonebrake has been awarded the title of Officer of the Year for the Roseburg Police Department for 2019.  Officer Bonebrake was selected for this honor by a vote of his peers and supervisors.  He was given this award Friday night at the 44th annual Respect for Law banquet, hosted by the Roseburg Optimist Club.  

Chris has been with the Roseburg Police Department since July of 2016.  Prior to that Chris worked as a deputy for the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, and he also served in the United States Marine Corps. Chris always comes to work with a great attitude and he is well liked and respected by all of his supervisors and peers.  Chris is currently a K9 handler on our patrol team, and he is paired with K9 Axel.
