Roseburg Area Shop Destroyed by Fire

A small Roseburg area shop was destroyed by fire on Wednesday evening.  At 7:35 p.m., firefighters from Douglas County Fire District No. 2 responded to several reports of an unknown type building on fire near 337 Black Oak Drive.  

Firefighters arrived to find a small shop fully involved with fire with several trees nearby also in fire.  Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the trees and worked to extinguish the shop fire.  No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Douglas County Fire District No. 2 responded to the incident with 11 firefighters including 3 engines, 1 water tender, and 1 command unit.  They were assisted by Lookingglass Fire District and Roseburg Fire Department.
