Detectives Investigate Stabbing Incident in Green

ROSEBURG, Ore. - Detectives are investigating a stabbing incident which took place in the Green District Monday evening. 

On Monday, July 20, 2020, at 9:21 pm, 9-1-1 dispatchers received a report of a stabbing which had taken place in the 400-block of Harmony Drive. 

When deputies arrived, they located three individuals with injuries. Deputies learned a disturbance had taken place over money. During the disturbance, 50 year-old James Leland Nance of Idleyld Park was struck over the head with a shovel. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for an evaluation. 

34 year-old Jack Salberg and 34 year-old Brandon Lee Welter, both of Roseburg, sought medical attention on their own after sustaining cuts. 

Deputies also arrested 34 year-old Ryan Mark Weber and 26 year-old Autumn Storm Smith on unrelated warrants.
