ONLINE SEXUAL CORRUPTION OF A CHILD

On 07/08/2020, 60-year-old Keith Maclin contacted a female juvenile via a social media platform.  While speaking with the juvenile, Maclin planned to meet with her in order to have sexual contact with the juvenile. Maclin drove from Texas to Oregon with the intent of meeting with the juvenile.

Detectives with Klamath Falls, Jackson County and Grants Pass Department of Public Safety surveilled Maclin as he traveled through Oregon, and later detained Maclin in Grants Pass. He was lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the First Degree and Luring a Minor.
