Fatal Crash on Interstate 5 - Linn County

Preliminary investigation revealed a Ford F350 pickup, operated by Colton Neuschwander (30) of Harrisburg, was northbound in the fast lane when a male pedestrian ran into his path and he was unable to avoid striking him.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased. Name will be released when it is appropriate.
Oregon State Police was assisted by Linn County Sheriff's Office, Albany Fire and Rescue, and ODOT.
On Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at approximately 4:53 A.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a vehicle collision on Interstate 5 northbound near milepost 233.
