DESMOND GARCIA ARRESTED FOR STABBING IN MYRTLE CREEK
On January 22, 2021 at about 11:38 AM, Desmond Garcia contacted authorities through family members and said he wanted to turn himself in. Myrtle Creek police contacted Garcia in Canyonville, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Garcia was transported to the Douglas County Jail, where he was lodged on charges of Assault in the Second Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Menacing.
The Myrtle Creek Police would like to thank the citizens who called in tips during this investigation. This investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this point.
