UPDATED-POLICE SEARCHING FOR LOST CHILD

UPDATE at 2335: Ivonna has been located and is safe with her parents. Thank you to the Salem community for their concern.

Salem, Ore. - At approximately 7:00p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 the Salem Police Department received a call of a lost child. Ivonna Cofey, age 6, left her residence with her twin sister and became separated at approximately 5:00 p.m. 

Ivonna is described as a slender, black child of light complexion. She is believed to be wearing a grey shirt and pink tights. She was last seen in the Lakeside Village Mobile Home park in the 3300 block of Turner RD SE.

In addition to Salem police and fire personnel, the Marion County Search and Rescue team has been deployed and is actively searching the area. At this time the public is not needed to respond to the area, but if community members who live in the area or are traveling through the area happen to see Ivonna, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
