BULLETS FIRED INTO OCCUPIED HOUSE, CHILD'S BED

A house was struck by numerous bullets, including one that passed through the bed of a sleeping child.

On Friday, February 26, 2021 at 3:10a.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired into a house in the 6700 block of Southeast 66th Avenue. When they arrived they found that a house had been struck by at least 8 bullets. At the time of the shooting, the house was occupied by two adults, a 13-year-old, and a 12-year-old. One of the bullets struck the bed where the 12-year-old boy was asleep (photos). No one was hurt.
