Man shot in leg at the Englewood Market

 On 02/21/21 at 1655 hours, Coos Bay Police Department received a 911 call of a man shot at the Englewood Market.  Officers arrived on scene and located a male subject with a gun shot wound to his upper left thigh.  The victim male was identified and the officers rendered first aid to him until medics arrived shortly after and took over.  Officers were able to obtain a brief statement from the victim and witnesses and were able to develop a suspect vehicle and persons of interest in the case.  It was also learned by officers that the victim was familiar with some of the involved persons associated to the vehicle and that this wasn’t a random act of violence.  

 

Officers were able to obtain video footage of the incident and collected evidence left at the scene.  At this time, the vehicle and the shooter have not been located and are still at large.  The Coos Bay Police Department is asking anyone who may have information about the incident or who may recognize the male in the below pictures to contact the Coos Bay Police Department at 541-269-8911 or Coos Stop Crime at 541-267-6666.
